Charlie Brear – the eponymous British label – presents a fashion-led bridal collection inspired by a modern-take on cocktail wear. Designed and made in the UK, luxe fluid fabrics and relaxed silhouettes create a carefree mood that’s indicative of the brand’s fresh and contemporary approach to bridal wear.
Off-the-shoulder sleeves, front-split skirts, low sexy backs and cut-outs give the collection a directional feel, whilst clever design details such as uneven pleating and draping and modern bonded seams add interest. Co-ords – a Charlie Brear27 signature – continue to play a pivotal role. In addition to traditional sandwashed silks, crepe de chine silks and fine grain satins; new innovative fabrics include body form stretch lace and crepe, and architectural lace. Prices range from £1,200 – £2,800.
Charlie Brear, Founder and Creative Director, says; “Whilst a strong evening vibe runs throughout, the collection also takes inspiration from Latin American culture and its many nuances – including Miami’s design-led architecture with its familiar pastels and geometric lines, and the captivating beauty of feminist icon and portrait artist Frida Kahlo. The collection will appeal to brides seeking out a modern, effortless wedding-day style that maintains elements of timeless tradition.
